As a paying customer who wanted to have a quick bite I was not allowed to sit and was told I could only eat outside (middle of December) or I would have to pay a different menu price. They didn't even get my order right and rolled their eyes when I told them it was not what I wanted. I hope others will not have the same experience I did.

I'm obsessed with Shanghai, but don't always want to drive up to College Hill or wait the hour it takes for my food to be delivered. I tried out Chef Ho's for the first time today and enjoyed it very much. I definitely got my money's worth with the dumplings, which are enormous, and the Shirley Temple I ordered with my food was fantastic. The best part - I got my food in about 20 minutes!A word to fried rice fans: the meatless fried rice is devoid of pretty much everything else as well, including egg.

On: 9/19/2012 9:57:00 AM close by.i just wish it open later than 10pm. but the lady who picked up the phone is super nice and welcoming me and helping me out with the menu because i seen it only online. But i order sesame chicken combo and crabrangoo and the total came up to 13 dollars. not bad. but the portions were smaller.

We sat at the table directly in front of the windows and it was nice to people-watch while eating our food. Overall nothing special, but still tasty.

I really like the chicken chow mein and the fried rice is way better than the review below. I'm confused by the reviews that say they dont like it. A couple years ago we ate at Chef Ho's in Providence and found this to be the best oriental restaurant without a doubt. Each year we go out of our way to dine at Chef Ho's. I am especially fond of egg foo-yong and after eating at most, if not all restaurants in our area, I found none equal to Chef Ho's. So, when in Providence make Chef Ho's a destination....you won't regret it. TR
